Terms & Condition

By booking services offered by Nyatiti NyaDala CIC, clients agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions of Use and agree that they are responsible for compliance.

Nyatiti NyaDala CIC recognises that the welfare of all children, young people and vulnerable persons is of paramount importance. All children have the right to be protected from abuse. Nyatiti NyaDala CIC will not unfairly discriminate in any way for example on the grounds of age, disability, gender, reassignment, marital or civil partner status, pregnancy or maternity, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation. Nyatiti NyaDala CIC will source classes, workshops or performances to increase exposure of East African Music and Culture and make it available to a wider audience including those who have difficulties accessing the arts.

Nyatiti NyaDala CIC commits to using profits made from sales and donation to fund free or low cost services, events and projects.

 

CONSENT

By booking a class or performance, clients confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to the following:

Clients consent to enter in contract with Nyatiti NyaDala CIC for the provision of selected services from its range.

CONTRACT

By booking classes, workshops or performances with Nyatiti NyaDala CIC, clients confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to the following deposit, rescheduling, and cancellation policy:

Classes/workshops for individuals

Unless agreed otherwise classes and workshops are to be paid in full prior to attending. One to one class/workshop may be rescheduled by the client up to 48 hours before the original scheduled time.

Performances & school/organisation workshops

Unless otherwise agreed upon, a 25% deposit is required to secure artist(s) for a performance/institution workshops which will be paid at the time of booking for the booking to be secured. The booking slots maybe allocated to other clients in the event that the payment is not made.

Classes, workshops or performances can only be rescheduled once. 

Location and travel expenses

One to one tuition will take place at the tutor’s venue of choice or online via video call. When agreed to provide workshops at the client’s premises, the expenses calculation will be included in the quote provided therefore no extra cost will be incurred by the client.

WEBSITE PACKAGES

  • Packages are offered at discounted prices to enable clients to make a longer-term commitment. They are non-refundable and non-transferable. When a package is purchased, the customer enters a contract with Nyatiti NyaDala CIC and commits to attending all included appointments.

  • Packages are valid for 3 or 6 months from purchase depending on the one chosen..

  • For one to one tuitions, the contracted artist and the customer will agree to make mutually convenient appointments included with the package. In the event that you have to reschedule one of your appointments, a 48hrs notice must be given. Where less than 48hrs notice is given, or in the event of a last-minute cancellation, no show, or late arrival (15 minutes late), the appointment will be cancelled and associated charges will be forfeited.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Nyatiti NyaDala CIC reserves the right to cancel or to re-arrange events in exceptional circumstances. In such instances full refund will be applied to the client. 

  • Event tickets are non-shareable, non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Resale of tickets is not permitted. 

  • If a client cancels up to 1 calendar month in advance of the event, a 50% refund will be given. No refund will not be applied to cancellations made within a calendar month of the event commencing. 

  • Individual events may have additional cancellation terms that will be detailed within the event description. 

  • For bookings made via a deposit, the remainder payment must be made 14 days in advance of the event. Failing this, we reserve the right to offer the space to the waiting list. The deposit paid is not refundable.

  • Rolling weekly institution workshops - a monthly payable installment can be arranged. In this instance the first installment should be paid before the start of the project which will act as deposit.

MISCELLANEOUS

  • We reserve the right to refuse services to anyone who is disrespectful, disruptive, rude, or offensive.

  • Please take care of your personal items and valuables. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage.

  • We reserve the right to change the prices and availability of our services, without any prior notice.
