Performance Laboratory
In 2011 Rapasa participated in Gaara Projects in the program performance lab nairobi. This was a stepping stone to further explore and reflect on the techniques acquired during a 2 years intensive contemporary dance training program facilitated by Dance Forum Nairobi DF-N at the Godown Centre Nairobi Kenya. Performance lab nairobi, being an artist and audience development platform designed to bridge the gaps between training, creative process and audience engagement was an anchor to integrate into the dance community. This allowed him to work with diverse artists from different backgrounds, well established choreographers, young professionals in the scene, sound designers and scenographers thus enhancing confidence, provoke thoughtful questions in the process of creation, engaging and continue exploring to develop the vocabulary of dance.

Shared Difference by Opiyo Okach

In 2020 Rapasa is invited to work in the project Instance Now, a creation by Opiyo Okach, it's a remote network performance the process and performances of the work take place online. The artists working from remote locations exchange data and media streams with each other and Opiyo uses it to generate interactive audio-visual content that is streamed to online audiences who can make choices as to how they engage and interactively participate in the performances in real-time.
